Synopsis

A completely original never been done before play that takes place in a fictional town. Welcome to Nearly, Washington, a town somewhere north of Vancouver and South of Vancouver. At golden hour on a Thursday night in spring turned summer, we explore the complex relationships of the people who make up the town. Nearly, Washington is a series of plays written about the lives of those who populate our little suburb. With bears, demons, and bee costumes. Nearly Washington is about where we find ourselves in the middle of it all

Malik: a married man who sold his soul to the devil

The Devil: the actual devil who is horny and flaming

Sinai: a woman who likes to surprise people

Victor: a son trying to mourn
Alejandro: a father trying to connect
Amelia a girl who has nothing to lose
Henrietta: a girl who doesn’t want to waste her breath
Bandsaw: a muppet looking mother fucker
Carrie: a genius woman who can’t be alone
Vince: a man created to fill space
Letitia: a married woman who doesn’t want cake
Kai: a married man who wants some cake
Buckie Bee: a being in a bee costume
Flo: a woman with a secret looking for love on craigslist
Gary: a man with a secret looking for love on craigslist
